THE CAMP
one party only.
The wild on every side, every comfort within, and all of it moving as your journey moves.

THE TENTS
Luxury under canvas.
Each suite is intentionally designed and properly done: a proper bed dressed in high-quality linen, a dressing area, a beautiful vanity, and a private bathroom with a hot shower and a flush loo. Canvas walls roll back to open the room to the landscape, and everything you'd expect of a fine hotel is here. It is a room in nature, made for deep sleep, slow mornings and exceptional adventure.
Your base in the bush: somewhere to come home to, wherever the day has taken you.
THE LOUNGE
Cocktails, candlelight, and a library worth raiding.
A sitting room open to the landscape, made for the hours between drives: deep chairs, cold drinks, shelves of field guides, novels and games. In the afternoon it is the coolest, laziest place in Tanzania; in the evening it turns to candlelight, artisanal cocktails mixed by a sommelier-trained team, a cigar after a long day if that is your habit, and a film under the stars when the mood takes the table. It's a space that makes the camp a home.

THE TABLE
Two chefs, one table, no menu.
Every meal is cooked from scratch and to your tastes, a marriage of Mediterranean and Tanzanian flavours built on organic ingredients grown and raised locally. With one party in camp, the kitchen bends to the day: a long lunch when the morning runs late, dinner held back for a sighting worth staying out for, a child's favourite made without fuss. Meals are served under the sun and the stars, with a wine list chosen to match and cocktails mixed by a sommelier-trained team as the fire is lit.
THE MAKING
Made in Tanzania, to feel like another era.
The camp was designed and made almost entirely with Tanzanian artisans, from the hand-built furniture to the woven textiles and the copper and canvas of the washstands. Nothing came from a catalogue, and nothing feels like anywhere else. It is safari furnished the way it once was, campaign chairs and writing desks, brass and leather and lamplight, a camp in the wild that is beautiful in its own right and not only for the view beyond it.
